Yesterday was crazy. Three assemblies in one day. I have never seen so many different activities going on at the same time. Then add a PTA meeting, Head start doing bus safety, and new books arriving at the school, I didn't have a chance to breathe. Then of course people showing up needing equipment at the last minute. I swear people don't communicate anymore. It makes my life more difficult when people don't think things through.
Tomorrow I'm going on the annual man trip. This year we are going to southern Utah to four wheel and hike some slot canyons. Who know how this will turn out. I'm excited, but also a little nervous being as how I planned this and really don't know what the heck I'm doing. I feel bad that I'm leaving Staci for four day with a baby and Kennedy so I hope they aren't too wild. Between soccer, school and any other activities they have going on. Staci will need a vacation when I get home.
I started reorganizing our food storage and accessing our needs. We have a long ways to go. What use to be a fairly good reserve has dwindled substantially. When I quit Gourmet Awards we had quite the stock pile. Luckily we lived off much of this while I was going to school. It's time to begin to build it back up. Hopefully in the next couple weeks me and Staci will budget out a plan to buy more of the stuff we need on a monthly basis.
